Kural : 6

பொறிவாயில் ஐந்தவித்தான் பொய்தீர் ஒழுக்க 
நெறிநின்றார் நீடுவாழ் வார்.

" Porivayil Ainthaviththan Poitheera Ozhukka 

Nerinindrar needu vaazhvaar "

Thou who has victory over the five senses, by

surrendering to God's feet in strict discipline, 

thee shall be blessed with a long life.

Kural: 5

இருள்சேர் இருவினையும் சேரா இறைவன் 
பொருள்சேர் புகழ்புரிந்தார் மாட்டு.

" Irulsaer iruvinaiyum saera Iraivan
porulsaer pugazhpurindhaar maatu "

Thou who is sumberged in understanding the praise of God's glory, thee shall not be affected by bliss and curse in darkness of ignorance.

Kural: 4

வேண்டுதல் வேண்டாமை இலானடி சேர்ந்தார்க்கு 
யாண்டும் இடும்பை இல

" Vendudhal Vendamai Illanadi Sernthaarku
Yaandum idumbai ila "

Thou who has reached God's feet, who is apart from all the wants and dislikes of the mortal world, to thee nothing shall be an obstacle.

Kural: 3

மலர்மிசை ஏகினான் மாணடி சேர்ந்தார் 
நிலமிசை நீடுவாழ் வார்

"Malarmisai yethinaan Maanadi sernthaar
Nilamisai needu vazhvaar "

Those who are selflessly devoted to God's feet, adorned in the lotus of pure Love, shall be pardoned from the material worlds, and shall live forever in God's abode.

Kural: 2

கற்றதனால் ஆய பயனென்கொல் 

வாலறிவன் நற்றாள் தொழாஅர் எனின்.

" Katradhanaal aaya payanenkol
Vaalarivan natraal thozhaar yenin"

For thou who does not bow at the feet of God who is of pure knowledge..  All the learned knowledge of the material world shall be pointless.

Kural: 1

அகர முதல எழுத்தெல்லாம் 
ஆதி பகவன் முதற்றே உலகு

"Agara mudhala yezhuthellam
  Aadhi Bhagavan Mudhatre Ulagu"

All thamizh alphabets have the sound 'Aa' (or Agaram) as the first phonetic. Likewise, the world shall have God as it's first (or prime) resonance.
